Cong. Rodito Albano of Isabel confirmed on Wednesday that he will file a bill concerning the legalization of medical marijuana in the Philippines.
Exclaiming that his advocacy is not to promote pot sessions but he want to open the debates for legalizing marijuana for medicinal use in our country.
Albano said that he will file the bill in March and he needed time to study the bill carefully before submitting it to the council. he also added that he is willing to open the debate to thoroughly examine the issue.
the House minority bloc said that they support the filing of the bill legalizing marijuana for medicinal purposes.
on the interview of ABS-CBN correspondent RG Cruz,
House Minority Leader Ronaldo Zamora said: "We are in agreement that marijuana for medicinal, strictly medicinal purposes, it should be examined and legitimized. For recreational purposes, that's an entirely different issue."
