Department of Justice Secretary Leila De lima confirmed on the reporters on monday that one parties are requesting for an audience with her.
She refuse to reveal the party who is requesting for meeting.
She added that the DOJ wants to get the truth behind the stories and was willing to aid in order to let the justice prevail in this case.
"This is worth investigating because we have two different versions. Kailangan hustisya makuha kung sino tunay na biktima, makuha talaga ang hustisya. I'm sure the truth will prevail," De Lima said in one of the report.
Navarro was beaten up inside a condominium in Taguig City last Wednesday night by a group of men allegedly led by businessman Cedric Lee during a visit to a friend whom Navarro has identified as Denise Millet Cornejo.
